Human Factors Engineer | Aerospace | Onsite Are you passionate about how people interact with technology? Interested in designing the future of aviation? Join a highly collaborative engineering team focused on improving human performance and safety in next-generation military aircraft. We're looking for a Human Factors Engineer who is excited to apply 3D modeling, ergonomics, and biomechanics to real-world aerospace challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience working on cutting-edge aircraft systems and cockpit designs. What You'll Do Create and analyze 3D models of human interaction within aircraft cockpits and cabin environments Apply human factors, ergonomics, and biomechanics principles to optimize fit, reach, visibility, and usability Develop and interpret human engineering requirements for advanced aerospace systems Use tools like
CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE
(3DX), or similar platforms to build anthropometric models and simulations Support design, testing, and validation efforts to ensure safe and effective human-machine integration Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, systems, and test engineers Contribute to the development of next-generation flight deck and cabin concepts What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 0-3 years of experience (internships and academic projects welcome!) Experience with CATIA, 3DX, or other 3D CAD/modeling tools Strong interest in human-centered design and ergonomics Ability to analyze and solve problems with a detail-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Nice to Have Coursework or project experience in human factors, biomechanics, or ergonomics Exposure to anthropometric analysis or virtual human modeling tools Interest in aerospace or defense-related engineering Why Join Us? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
