The Work As the Lead Systems Engineer, you will:- Provide technical direction and tasking to a team of multi-disciplinary engineers
- Interface with program and customer representatives on scope, schedule and funding
- Ensure technical integrity of delivered product and ensure alignment to department roadmap and vision
- Be responsible for technical, cost and schedule performance of an effort
- Lead systems-engineer activities for simulation and training subsystems across the full product lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions, decompose software requirements and interfaces, and verify requirements.
- Apply Model-Based Engineering (MBE) to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software and hardware requirements and resolve product defects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
- Experience with requirements analysis and decomposition.
- Demonstrated project leadership skills, formal or informal
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in system design, requirements definition, and documentation standards
- Experience with system verification and test documentation
- Familiarity using Agile Management Suite and Agile Business Rhythm
- Experience in developing team members through knowledge continuity and mentoring Experience with combat system architecture and design
- Experience with programming languages such as C++,

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for thisPosition:
