Volt is immediately hiring for a Heat Treat Operator I

• 2nd Shift in South Gate, CA.

As a Heat Treat Operator I, you will: Operate and monitor industrial heat treat furnaces to ensure proper processing of metal components Prepare furnace loads based on material type, size, and furnace capacity Inspect parts before and after heat treatment for count, straightness, and flatness Perform cold and hot straightening when required Conduct hardness testing and basic quality checks Support furnace start?up, operation, and ongoing monitoring during the shift Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and production requirements with minimal supervision This is a full-time, contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment Prior heat treat or furnace operation experience Experience inspecting metal parts or working with forged materials Familiarity with hardness testing and straightening processes

Schedule:

2 nd shift, 4:00 PM

• 12:30 AM (Monday
• Friday)

Pay Rate:

$22.00

• $26.
