Tank Tech Lead

We're hiring an experienced Tank Technician III to join a busy shop environment. This role is a great fit for someone with strong mechanical and welding skills who is comfortable working independently, taking ownership of complex repairs, and supporting the development of other team members. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced tools and equipment in a hands-on setting while operating with minimal supervision. It also provides the chance to step into a mentoring role and grow into leadership responsibilities over time. Our client specializes in trailer repair, maintenance, and custom fabrication. It's a fast-paced shop environment where safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship are a priority. Job Duties:

Perform trailer repair, maintenance, and custom fabrication Complete brake jobs, tire changes, rewiring, and pressure testing Read and interpret work orders to complete jobs accurately and on time Operate equipment such as MIG welders, plasma cutters, and fabrication tools Assist with mentoring team members and supporting shop operations

Schedule:

Monday•Friday 8:00 AM•5:00 PM Overtime as needed

Pay:

$28•32/hour

Requirements:

Previous automotive or trailer mechanic experience Intermediate to advanced MIG welding (steel and aluminum) Must own required tools, including welding gear and impact tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment Ability to pass drug test, physical, and respirator fit test
