Our facility is being built from the ground-up and will be a 10BBL system. We are a small, family-owned brewery, and plan to focus on mixed fermentation/sour beers, with an emphasis on barrel aging and traditional German brewing techniques. While these are the focus of the brewery, there will also be several other styles on tap, ensuring that the brewery will always have something for anyone. Our style of beer is different from other breweries in the Branford area. Our facility will produce beer and have a small canning and bottling line. We will have an internal tap room and a seasonal exterior Beer Garden along with extensive outdoor lawn areas for additional guests. Ultimately we will also host private events. There will be two "permanent" food trucks (external vendors) that also will need to be managed. Some simple pre-prepared foods (e.g., cheese plate) will also be sold. We are looking for Taproom Ambassadors that are the front line interface between our brewery and its products, and the customer. You will be responsible for providing a welcoming and fun environment, build excitement for our beers with the customer, and provide them with every reason to return regularly. To be successful in this role you should have great customer service skills, knowledge of the craft beer industry, an outgoing personality, and the ability to speak to large groups of people. You will help with greeting, customer sales (beer and merchandise), changing kegs, etc. Responsibilities Providing informative weekend tastings Selling merchandise and beer Operating POS Greeting visitors to the brewery Changing kegs, washing glasses Stocking beer and merchandise Opportunities to work additional hours at any private events held at our brewery Skills/Requirements Must be 18+ per CT law to sell and serve alcohol 2+ years' service industry experience preferred but we will train the right people Great attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills Flexible availability, 10 to 20 hours per week depending on schedule (this job requires nights, weekends, and some holidays) Ability to communicate well and maintain a positive work environment Genuine love and interest for great beer Certified Beer Server preferred Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs Hours of Operation Our currently planned tap room hours of operation are planned to be: Monday•
