Fallen Tree Vineyard, Crozet, VA Primarily Weekend Position, Optional Weekday Shifts Available $15/ Hour + Tips = up to $25-$35 per Hour Fallen Tree Vineyard is looking for a friendly, reliable, and service-minded Tasting Room Associate to join our team. This is primarily a weekend position, with optional weekday shifts available based on events, staffing needs, and employee availability. Our tasting room is built around warm hospitality, great wine, beautiful views, and a welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, can stay calm and positive during busy periods, and takes pride in helping guests feel at home. Responsibilities The Tasting Room Associate will help create a memorable experience for every guest by: Greeting guests warmly and helping them feel welcome from the moment they arrive Guiding guests through wine tastings, wine flights, glass pours, and bottle purchases Learning and sharing basic information about Fallen Tree wines, food offerings, events, and wine club benefits Taking food and beverage orders accurately using the point-of-sale system Serving wine, food, and other menu items in a professional and timely manner Supporting wine club signups, member pickups, and guest questions Keeping the tasting room, bar, tables, restrooms, and guest areas clean, organized, and guest-ready Restocking wine, merchandise, glassware, menus, and supplies as needed Assisting with setup and cleanup for live music, food service, private events, and special events Following Virginia ABC requirements and responsible alcohol service practices Working as part of a team during busy weekends, events, and peak tasting room hours Applicants should have: A positive attitude and strong customer service skills Ability to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays Comfort talking with guests and making them feel welcome Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Ability to stand for extended periods and lift cases of wine or supplies when needed Willingness to learn about wine, food pairings, and the Fallen Tree guest experience Prior tasting room, restaurant, bar, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is helpful, but not required Must be at least 21 years old to pour and serve wine Schedule This is primarily a weekend position. Typical shifts may include Saturdays, Sundays, and occasional Friday evenings or special events. Weekday shifts may be available as optional opportunities depending on business needs and employee availability.
