Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their design ideas and provide professional guidance on placement, size, and color options Prepare skin for tattooing by cleaning and sterilizing the area according to strict sanitation protocols Execute tattoo designs with precision using various techniques, including shading, coloring, and line work Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations Manage appointment scheduling, walk-in clients, and ensure smooth studio operations Educate clients on aftercare procedures to promote healing and satisfaction Assist with store management tasks such as inventory control of inks, needles, and equipment when needed Requirements Proven experience in tattooing with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and techniques Knowledge of sanitation standards and practices to prevent infection and ensure client safety Excellent communication skills for understanding client needs and providing clear explanations of procedures Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training prior to employment Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of color theory and illustration skills to enhance design quality Preferred qualifications include store management experience, familiarity with sales techniques, and additional certifications in sanitation or health safety.
