TAX CONSULTANT / SITE MANAGER

Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Consultant to join our team and manage our Jefferson office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, and financial services, with the ability to provide expert advice on tax-related matters. This role requires a proactive approach to client service, ensuring compliance with tax regulations while optimizing financial strategies for individuals and businesses with a heavy focus on farming. Duties Prepare and review tax returns for farming individuals, businesses, and organizations to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Conduct thorough financial report interpretation to assess clients' financial positions and tax obligations. Provide guidance to 200+ members located primarily in Greene and Carroll counties as well as surrounding areas. Assist clients with financial planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice. Collaborate with clients to develop tailored tax strategies that meet their unique needs. Experience A degree in Agriculture, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in public accounting or financial services is highly desirable. Experience in production agriculture is beneficial. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed. Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information to clients.
