Tax Intern

Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Intern to support our team during the 2025 tax extension season. This is a hands-on opportunity for a candidate with prior tax experience who is looking to gain practical, real-world exposure in a fast-paced professional environment. Responsibilities Prepare income tax returns and supporting workpapers Organize, scan, and maintain client tax documents Track receipt of client information and manage internal status spreadsheets Assist in finalizing and delivering completed tax returns, including assembly and mailing Communicate with clients regarding completed returns and outstanding items Support workflow and document management systems Provide general administrative support to the tax team Qualifications Prior tax experience or exposure to tax preparation workflows preferred Familiarity with common tax documents and filing processes Experience with CCH, Adobe, and Microsoft Outlook strongly preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Professional communication skills Requirements Available Monday-Friday, with full availability August through October (required) Ability to work in-office in Riverside, CT Reliable transportation Compensation & Benefits Paid internship; compensation based on experience Opportunity for a full-time position for the right candidate Apply Today Please submit your resume and include your availability for August-October 2026, along with a brief summary of your prior tax experience and any relevant software used.
