Tax Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Tax Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $200,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Assist with tax planning and offer strategic recommendations tailored to client needs. Conduct tax research to stay informed on current laws and regulatory changes. Respond to inquiries from federal and state tax authorities in a timely manner. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

Participate in client interviews and gather relevant financial and tax data. Perform other duties as assigned to support the tax team and firm objectives. Demonstrate proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Show familiarity with ERP systems and their application in tax workflows. Manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Possess a CPA certification (preferred but not required). Bring 2+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
