Teacher Job DescriptionKaleo Enrichment ProgramAbout Kaleo At Kaleo, we believe every student is uniquely gifted and called for a purpose. Our enrichment program provides engaging, hands-on learning experiences for students in 1st-12th grade through creative, academic, and life-skill based classes. Our mission is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students can grow academically, socially, creatively, and spiritually while discovering confidence in who they are. We offer a wide variety of classes including: History & Geography Economics Lego Robotics Math Lab Theatre Bootcamp Improv Psychology Debate Sign Language Etiquette Guidance & Student Support General Campus Support We are seeking passionate educators and support staff who genuinely love working with students and desire to make a meaningful impact. Position Summary Kaleo teachers and campus staff are responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and encouraging learning environment for students ages 1st-12th grade. Instructors lead classes within their area of expertise while supporting student growth, confidence, creativity, and character development. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about their subject area, patient with students, flexible, team-oriented, and committed to serving others with kindness and excellence. Responsibilities Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities Create a welcoming and positive classroom environment Encourage student participation, creativity, and confidence Maintain classroom management with patience and professionalism Communicate respectfully and effectively with students, staff, and parents Arrive prepared and on time for all assigned classes or duties Support Kaleo's mission, values, and community culture Assist with student supervision and campus needs as needed Foster teamwork, respect, and encouragement among students Qualifications We are looking for individuals who are: Passionate about the subject they teach Patient, kind, and encouraging with children and teens Dependable, organized, and professional Able to work well with a team Creative and engaging in their teaching style Comfortable teaching and interacting with students from diverse backgrounds Committed to creating a Christ-centered, uplifting environment Someone who loves the Lord and models positive character and integrity Teaching experience is preferred but not required for all positions. Relevant experience, certifications, ministry involvement, coaching, mentoring, or industry expertise are welcomed.
