Licensed/Provisionally Licenses Teacher - $70K Starting Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support learners across diverse age groups and educational needs. In this role, you will design engaging lesson plans, implement effective teaching strategies, and foster a positive classroom environment that promotes growth, curiosity, and confidence. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills in literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and more, ensuring they reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and arts. Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, visual impairments, or hearing impairments. Collaborate with special education teams to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that tailor instruction to each student's goals. Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate personalized learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavioral management techniques. Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students' social-emotional well-being and foster a nurturing learning environment. Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education, preschool settings, or private schools is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in special education practices such as speech therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or music therapy is a plus. Experience working with children with disabilities or developmental challenges, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is essential. Proven ability to develop curriculum content for diverse learners while incorporating educational technology tools. Strong communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff effectively. Knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education techniques, and assessment methodologies. Familiarity with early intervention programs, Montessori methods, or recreational therapy enhances your candidacy.
