Aug 19, 2026 Job Description Peacham Elementary School seeks a part time Art teacher to join our unique learning community. PES is a small rural school which values its agricultural heritage while looking ahead to the technological challenges of the future. We are well-known for our commitment to integrating the Arts throughout our curriculum. PES is a Responsive Classroom School with a school-wide commitment to PBiS. Our staff works collaboratively to integrate Common Core content into project-based learning opportunities. We seek an Art teacher who shares our belief that Art is an essential lens for students to use to understand and interpret what they are learning in math, science, social studies, and language arts. Hours are somewhat flexible to support potential part-time employment at another school in addition to PES. A successful candidate will possess a current VT Teaching license with Art endorsement and experience in an elementary school setting.
