Teacher Assistant

Teacher Assistant:

The teacher assistant role is for someone who has experience working with early age students in a structured childcare setting. We service students as young as 18 months of age to 6 years old. Our staff is dedicated and warm towards all of our children and we are looking for the best candidates to be our lead teacher's assistants in the classroom and during outdoor play times. All of our full time staff is welcome to enroll in a health benefits packet after their probationary period. Screenings and interviews have started, please know that if chosen, you will need to have proof of enrollment in a Child Development course or unofficial transcripts showing units in child development.

Duties:

• Assist lead teachers with lessons and activities in and outside of the classroom.
• Able to stand, sit on the floor, dance, bend, jump, go up and down stairs without additional accommodation.
• Able and willing to change diapers, help children stay fresh and clean throughout the day.
• Assist students during meal times by warming up their food, setting the table and opening their containers and refilling water bottles as needed throughout the day.
• Provide consistent and effective supervision daily for safety and class management purposes.
• Have excellent communication with all staff during the school day.
