Teacher Assistant for Infant/Toddler Program

Acorns to Oaks is looking for Assistant Teachers for Infant/Toddler Program for our school in Lagrangeville, NY!

Responsibilities :

Assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing lesson plans Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment Responsible for daily housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and cleaning of the school Schedule and prepare activities for children in the classroom based on age and interest Communicate with parents regularly to maintain a comprehensive understanding of the educational program Attend professional development sessions and training in order to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base on child development

Skills:

Prior experience working with children is preferred but not required. Must be able to pass a criminal background check. High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid license or certification for preschool (CDA, CSP, LCSW) required. CPR First Aid Certification preferred but not required.
