Teacher Assistant - Preschool

Immediate Opening:

Approx. 32+ hrs/wk. Responsibilities vary, working as part of the Head Start teaching team, assisting the Lead Teacher to create a good learning environment for 3 and 4 year old children. Assisting to promote growth and learning for school readiness, and support compliance with federal Head Start Performance Standards and State Child Care Licensing.

Qualifications:

Child Development Associate (CDA) or willing to acquire within one year of employment. Professional development assistance provided. One year experience working with children Pay starting at $18.05 / hour - $20.60/hour with CDA Health/dental benefits, holiday and vacation pay, matching retirement plan.
