Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time opportunity is available for a Teacher specialized in Blind and Visually Impaired education. This role involves working onsite within an educational setting, serving students with visual impairments. The position is scheduled for up to four days per week, Monday through Friday, allowing for flexibility in balancing professional commitments.

Deliver tailored instruction and support to students who are blind or visually impaired Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs Provide training and resources to staff and families to enhance student learning and independenceDesired Qualifications:
Valid New York State teaching license in Blind and Visually Impaired education (submission of license in PDF format required) Proven experience working with visually impaired students in a school setting Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and related service providers Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environmentsApplication Requirements:
