As a Teacher for the Visually Impaired, you'll play an integral role in customizing educational experiences, advocating for inclusive access, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals for the 2026-2027 academic year. This part-time opportunity begins July 27th, 2026 and continues through May 25th, 2027, offering approximately 20 hours per week. You'll provide direct instruction and consultation within several educational environments, ensuring each student receives the individualized support they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

Special Education - Visual Impairment (P-12) teaching certificate OR Special Education certificate with Visual Impairment endorsement (required) Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired, preferably in educational settings In-depth knowledge of adaptive curriculum, assistive technology, and Braille instruction Strong communication and collaborative skills with educators, families, and related service providers Commitment to nurturing student independence, confidence, and academic success

Responsibilities:
