05/20/2026 The Madison Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Teacher Leader at the Neck River School for the 2026-2027 school year.Responsibilities:
Assists the School Administration with student behavior matters Serves as the primary facilitator for Restorative Practices. Provides ongoing coaching to staff on the Restorative Practices model. Models and mentors staff on implementation of Responsive Classroom techniques. Acts as the Student Transportation Liaison to address any issues or student behavior. Provides daily oversight and leadership during high-traffic student times including arrival, dismissal, lunch and recess.Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid certification from the State of Connecticut. 092 certification preferred. Five (5) years or more of teaching experience including a proven track record with Responsive Classroom and Restorative Practices. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Salary:
As per the provisions of the 2026-2027 salary schedule of the MEA contract along with the EPED Elementary Team Leader Stipend.Benefits:
