Teacher - Middle School English/Language Arts

Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavioral therapy techniques. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support student development, including early intervention programs and behavioral health initiatives. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and student progress reports in accordance with school policies. Skills Proven experience in classroom management across early childhood education, preschool, or private school settings. Strong knowledge of curriculum development, literacy education, math instruction, and childhood development principles. Expertise in working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), visually impaired education, or other disabilities. Familiarity with special education procedures such as IEP planning and implementation. Proficiency in using learning technology tools for instructional purposes and educational assessments. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners while maintaining a positive classroom environment. Experience in tutoring, recreational therapy, music therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA) is a plus. Knowledge of behavioral health strategies for managing challenging behaviors and promoting social-emotional well-being.
