Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid teaching certification as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) or other relevant communication modalities. Experience working within school settings or with K-12 students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct DHH services to a handful of students, adapting instruction to individual learning styles and needs. Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to create an inclusive and supportive educational environment. Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements.
