Full Job Description Job Overview:

Our Hope Lutheran Preschool is seeking a dedicated Teacher's Aide to join our team for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. As a Teacher's Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our educators in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of children in a faith-based educational setting.

Monday-Friday Hours:

7:45-3:45 or 7:45-12:00.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities that promote childhood development.
• Support classroom management by ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators to educate and supervise children during various activities.
• Aid in curriculum development and implementation to enhance the learning experience.
• Provide childcare assistance and support to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Assist in preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities.
• Help with maintaining a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques tailored to young learners.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Experience in supporting educators with classroom management.

Skills:

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members.
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.
• Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education environment.
• Proficiency in assisting with lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and support educators in creating an engaging learning atmosphere.
