Job Description

Team Manager Indiana TPA (Indianapolis IN) We are hiring a Team Leader for our Account Administration Team in the retirement plan industry. We are a TPA located on the NE side of Indianapolis. The focus of this position is managing a team of professionals to meet firm goals. The Team Leader is responsible for training, goal setting, creating a positive work environment for junior staff, and performance reviews for the team members. Team leaders are evaluated primarily on the success of their team. For this position, an individual must have a minimum of seven years of industry experience and three years of supervisory experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 2-3 staff members and coordinating among other departments
  • Management will include ensuring client satisfaction and assisting with the communications between the company and industry partners.
  • Assist in training staff members throughout the year Resolve service issues escalated by team members Keep current with new regulations and legislation as well as an awareness of proposed regulations and legislation Assist team members with annual client reviews Maintain a caseload of at least 50 clients Provide design and consulting services to plans assigned to the team Cultivate existing client relationships for plans assigned to the team Communicate with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals on plans assigned to the team
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in nondiscrimination testing 3+ years of supervisory experience Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRC, as well as other rules and Regulations Strong research and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word Superior organizational and coordination skills Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to multi-task Knowledge of the following is a plus: DATAIR, ASC or FTWilliam recordkeeping system Relius Document Management system PensionPro system
Compensation and Benefits:
Base Salary $70,000 to $105,000 Medical insurance Paid time off 401(k) plan

All work is in our company office
