Job Summary As a Squad Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer experiences in our vibrant Italian Ice & Frozen Custard café environment. Your primary responsibilities will include food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere. You will be the face of our brand, ensuring that each guest feels valued and satisfied with their visit. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of Italian Ice & Frozen Custard items in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items. Operate the cash register efficiently, handling transactions accurately and responsibly. Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness in the café area, including bussing tables and ensuring a tidy workspace. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Follow all food handling guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food products. Qualifications Must have a valid SNHD Food Handlers Certification Card Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds Previous experience in a kitchen or café setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Basic knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A passion for food preparation and a willingness to learn new skills related to food handling and service.
