Monday - Friday (9:30am-11:30am or later if meal route (in all areas) is needed) Deliver meals to recipients when volunteer meal delivery driver calls off (areas in Polk County) If you live in an area that you want to only deliver there, we can accommodate that. 9 pickup locations: Winter Haven, Haines City, Davenport, Solivita, Polk City, Auburndale, Bartow, Lakeland (2) Be available to deliver meal routes to recipients that are not covered by volunteers as needed. Part-Time No guarantee of hours (On Call as needed) Can be up to 20, $40 per route, only 1 route per day

In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. As a Team Member, you will play a vital role in delivering a positive experience for our volunteers/recipients while supporting the overall operations of our establishment. Responsibilities Greet and assist recipients/staff in a friendly and professional manner. Perform systems set in place to assure safe/accurate delivery of meals and reporting to our staff. Follow procedures set in place by Meals on Wheels of Polk County, report concerns to Executive Director. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during. Be on time, Be positive, Be dependable. Maintain cleanliness in work areas. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Valid drivers license and clean MVR record.
