Jay's Drive-In located in Oregon, IL known for burgers, large selection of ice cream, and friendly 1950's-1960's atmosphere. We offer a unique working environment that brings the charm of the past into the present.

Various Positions:

Carhops/Cashiers & Servers/Kitchen Help Location:

Jay's Drive-In, Oregon, IL Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude.

Scoop and Serve:

Expertly serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and other delightful treats.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Keep the shop clean and organized, ensuring all health and safety guidelines are met. Help the kitchen staff as needed.

Manage transactions:

efficiently and accurately using our point-of-sale system.

Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about our flavors, seasonal offerings, and promotions to answer any customer inquiries.

Kitchen Staff:

Prepare classic 1950s-style dishes burgers & Fries. Qualifications Passion for ice cream, customer service and a friendly, outgoing personality.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Team Player:

Willingness to work collaboratively in a fun, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Flexibility:

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. •

Experience:

Previous experience in customer service or food service is a plus, but not required. Food Handler certification is a plus. (Certification will be required after being hired).
