Job Details:
Position Summary This position is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to producers caring for company poultry. The role focuses on ensuring proper bird care, comfort, and overall flock performance while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Advise producers on proper bird care, comfort, and farm management practices Provide guidance on building and equipment specifications, litter management, and farm sanitation Conduct farm visits to evaluate flock health, comfort, and environmental conditions Monitor bird health, egg production, body weight, and overall flock performance Adjust and recommend feed, lighting, and environmental programs as needed Identify and address performance issues with practical solutions Track and report feed consumption and flock data Collect blood and fat samples as required Coordinate bird placements and assist with catch schedules Maintain communication with hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul teams Ensure compliance with production contracts, USDA regulations, and company policies Promote efficient production with a focus on quality and cost effectiveness Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 1+ year of related experience preferred Basic computer skills required Strong communication and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Work Schedule & Travel Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Travel required (approximately 1-5 trips per year)Relocation Assistance Eligible:
