MUST. TECHNICAL SERVICE ELECTRONIC MECHANICAL

Opportunity to use electro mechanical skills in an area of growth and further compensation. Customize, repair, instruct on use of embossing machines and systems both in shop and in client offices. We overcome tech issues by knowing and observing stepper motor movements of machines. We do board level swap repairs and lots of tool turning. System controllers are Windows based proprietary software and MS Excel.

SERVICE BUREAU PRODUCTION

Assist clients and prospects with services and product information. Use email and phone to provide request for quotes. Low key, low volume. About 7 of each on an average day. Use automated metal tag embosser to emboss data on our metal tags. Obviously, must enjoy running office machinery. Microsoft experience critical. We use Excel, Outlook and Work daily. Excel is used to send data to our automatic metal tag embossers to produce metal tags for clients. Minimal use of QuickBooks for invoicing. Again, must enjoy operating office machines.

Phones:

• Greet customers and vendors with pleasant professional greeting
• Direct callers to requested employee or department if unable to fulfill need
• Answer questions regarding past and future orders (materials, turnaround etc.)
• Take messages when employee unavailable or for technical service
• Call out to customers for needed info (POs, shipping, CC etc.

)

Quoting:

• Make embossed tag quotes based on customer's location, tax status, and pick up options
• Create custom tag quotes based on doubling quotes received from vendors
• Use QuickBooks and past order to confirm pricing per customer

Custom Tags:

• Work with customers via email and phone to meet their requirements
• Communicate with vendors to find most cost and time effective options
• Track orders and follow up to meet customer's need
• Get approval for proofs and orders

QuickBooks:

• Create invoices for embossed, custom and blank tag orders
• Create customer profiles in QuickBooks with all information provided
• Run credit card and other payments for invoices
• Ensure prompt delivery of invoices and credit card receipts via email
• Back Up for Ariba, Shell and DOW portals
• File all paid paperwork and sort incoming pending paperwork
• Attach PODs for all delivered orders

Embossing:

• Manage incoming orders and clarify any questions or concerns
• Rectify/ create excel spread sheets
• Select tags based on customer's needs
• Create neat and orderly layouts
• Verify and re-verify tag quality, quantity, and correctness

Shipping:

• Package embossed tag and blank tag orders to ensure undamaged products
• Verify address and contact info from PO
• Hand write shipping and pick up slips when needed
• Estimate delivery dates and provide tracking for customers
• Set out orders for UPS pick up or take to UPS center
• Label all outgoing tag boxes (with exceptions)
• Receive and ship out LTL pallet orders
• Palletize large pallet orders and keep track of BOLs/paperwork
• File UPS billing paperwork etc.

Maintenance:

• Adjust pressure and gates for optimal embossing
• Preform minor maintenance on machines (greased belt, dust etc.)
• Change machine configuration based on necessity (embossing speed, per line/per character)
• Re-box and break up tags for better appearance and easier use
• Troubleshoot internet and computer problems

Cleaning/Other:

• Sweep out and clean up warehouse
• Sweep and clean back office
• Wash all windows
• Clean the bathroom
• Vacuum front office when possible
• Go through lateral to keep paperwork straight Ability to lift 55 pounds, background and drug test.
