Full Job Description Job Purpose:

Installation and training of all MicroCraft equipment and software at customer site, and to provide phone/email/onsite support for MicroCraft customers. Customers to support are mainly located in CA and sporadically nationwide. Occasionally required to support some customers in Canada. Preferable Requirements Required to be available to travel up to 70%. Prior field service engineering experience Valid driver's license, passport and ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Knowledge in Circuit Board/PCB is a plus, but not prerequisite. Ability to train customers on both hardware and software in a technical environment Responsible for arranging travel, hotel and rental car reservations. Excellent communication skills for phone, email, and onsite support Technical engineering degree or equivalent is a plus, but not prerequisite. Experience installing, maintaining, or supporting industrial equipment, CNC machinery, PCB testing systems, or similar technical hardware Intermediate computer skills needed. General software knowledge is required. Must be a self-starter and demonstrate an ability to rapidly learn the MicroCraft product line. Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Once the employment begins, a basic training at headquarters in Japan to be received.
