• About the Project
• We are hiring multiple contract roles to support a large-scale installation project inside a high‑tech large-scale national distribution facility. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, reliable, and ready to work.

• 6 weeks

• Shift Start Time:

• 7 am start time

• Pay Rate:

• + $25 (Technician) + $22 (Material Handling) + $20 (General Laborer) + $23 (Forklift Operation - certification required)
• 1. Mechanical Technician

• Summary:

• Technicians install chutes, mechanical systems, and HMIs with precision, following blueprints and SOPs.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Install chutes, mechanical components, and HMIs + Work safely at heights up to 6 ft + Follow blueprints and SOPs accurately + Install wires, cables, and small/large mechanical parts + Use hand and power tools for mechanical assembly
• 2. Material Handler

• Summary:

• Material Handlers support the installation team by moving, staging, and organizing materials throughout the facility.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Transport and stage materials for technicians + Use pallet jacks and carts to move inventory + Assist with unloading and organizing shipments + Maintain clean, safe work areas + Support assembly teams as needed
• 3. General Laborer

• Summary:

• General Laborers perform essential support tasks to keep the project running smoothly.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Assist with basic mechanical tasks and site cleanup + Remove tape, debris, and packaging materials + Support installation teams with manual labor + Lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly + Follow all safety and site procedures
• 4. Forklift Operator

• Summary:

• Forklift Operators handle material movement using powered industrial trucks.

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Operate forklifts safely to move materials + Load/unload pallets and equipment + Support material flow for installation teams + Perform daily equipment checks + Maintain organized staging areas
• Requirements (All Roles)
• + Experience with hand and power tools + Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs + Comfortable standing/walking for long periods + Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused + Able to read a tape measure accurately + Valid ID required daily +

• Forklift Operators:

• valid certification

• Bonus Experience:

• construction, carpentry, mechanical assembly

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
