Technician, Electrical

JBT Marel is looking for a skilled electrician to join our team in Sabetha, KS.

The Role:

In this position, you'll install, maintain, and repair wiring and electrical systems for control equipment. We're looking for someone who brings strong communication skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit. Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays. Connects power cables to equipment. Repairs faulty equipment or systems. Operate lift truck with certification. Other duties assigned due to the need of the business. Skills and Abilities Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines Computer and ERP system familiarity Organized, proactive, and detail oriented Ability to handle confidential information appropriately Must be able to pass a physical capacity profile and drug screen Physical/Environmental Requirements Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and moving machinery May involve domestic and international travel Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally Education, Knowledge, and Experience Technical degree- preferred.
