Essential Functions and Primary Duties Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
Lead project analytics, including: claims data analytics, projection modeling in Excel, program change impacts, and ad hoc requests from clients Facilitates client meetings, client presentations and internal team meetings Independently determines methodologies and approaches for projects, with communication with project lead for final approval Lead the development of client deliverables including Excel based deliverables, presentations, and written documents Manage timelines including completion of client deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) Ensures all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review Actively communicates project status updates with internal team (junior and senior members) Act as a resource for support staff Supports business development activities through client engagement, project timeliness, and analytical accuracy and insight Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of relevant experience in a professional environment performing actuarial, data, financial or health care related analyses and consulting Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Expertise using Microsoft Office suite Experience with comprehending, manipulating, and interpreting claims data using SAS or SQL-related coding for claims database analytics Thorough understanding of health care delivery, with emphasis on Medicaid Experience working within a team environment Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization Ability to communicate, present findings and recommendations in a clear format to external clients Local candidates in the greater Phoenix area, or ability to relocate to Phoenix area Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
