At GPW and Associates, Inc. (GPW), you'll gain exposure to the bigger picture and work directly with experienced actuaries to serve clients across a variety of industries and insurance programs. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will gain hands-on experience with reviewing and compiling large quantities of client data in support of actuarial reserving analyses. As a Property and Casualty (P&C) consulting firm, GPW specializes in serving the risk management needs of over 4,000 clients. GPW offers a unique combination of captive and reinsurance management, accounting, tax compliance, and actuarial services all under one roof, providing our clients with efficient and comprehensive service. GPW's actuarial services include pricing, reserving, and product development for a variety of insurance coverages such as vehicle service contracts, workers' compensation, general liability and auto liability. What You'll Do Support P&C reserving analyses across multiple lines of business Compile, review and reconcile large quantities data Research and resolve data discrepancies Prepare reserve analyses and exhibits for credentialed actuaries Communicate findings, questions, and project status effectively Collaborate with team members to meet client and project deadlines Pursue Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) credentials What We're Looking For Successful completion of at least one CAS actuarial exam Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field Less than two years of actuarial experience, or relevant actuarial internship experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with VBA, Python, R, SQL, or Power BI preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills What You Can Expect Medical & Dental Coverage

This is a hybrid position based in Phoenix, Arizona. In office days are Tuesdays and Thursdays. During our peak season, typically mid-January through March 1st, team members should expect a workload of approximately 50 or more hours per week.
