Position Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented UAT Analyst to support technology initiatives within the Actuarial Department . This role focuses on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for actuarial systems, models, and data-driven solutions used in insurance product development, valuation, forecasting, and financial reporting. The UAT Analyst works closely with actuarial stakeholders, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to ensure system changes accurately reflect actuarial requirements, assumptions, calculations, and regulatory expectations. This role supports Agile delivery efforts and plays a key role in validating that actuarial solutions meet both technical and business needs prior to production release. Key Responsibilities User Acceptance Testing & Validation Develop, execute, and maintain UAT plans, test cases, and test scripts for actuarial systems, models, and data workflows. Validate actuarial business requirements, calculations, and assumptions against system functionality and outputs. Analyze test results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with actuarial methodologies and business objectives. Collaboration & Defect Management Collaborate with actuaries, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to identify, document, and resolve defects or discrepancies. Support defect triage discussions by providing clear testing evidence and impact analysis. Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and releases, managing competing priorities while maintaining quality standards. Documentation & Reporting Document UAT results, test evidence, and outcomes, providing clear feedback to stakeholders. Maintain UAT documentation, logs, and artifacts to support audit, compliance, and regulatory review requirements. Provide regular project and testing status updates to actuarial and delivery leadership. UAT Coordination & Release Support Facilitate UAT sessions with actuarial users and coordinate testing schedules and environments. Support go/no-go decisions for production releases by ensuring actuarial functionality has been thoroughly validated. Maintain a strong end-user focus, ensuring testing reflects real-world actuarial use cases and scenarios. Education Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience. Experience 2+ years of experience in UAT, QA, business analysis, or system testing, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry. Experience supporting actuarial, financial, or data-intensive systems is strongly preferred. Knowledge & Technical Skills Understanding of insurance operations and actuarial concepts such as pricing, valuation, reserves, forecasting, or financial reporting. Ability to interpret actuarial and business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. Proficiency with testing and work-management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Excel, and test management platforms. Familiarity with manual testing methodologies; exposure to automated testing is a plus. Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards impacting actuarial systems (e.g., SOX, statutory reporting) is a plus. Required Skills & Competencies Attention to
