Release Train Engineer#26-05611 Charlotte, NC Plano, TX Pennington, NJ Onsite Contract Starts 6/01/2026 Ends 4/30/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Train Engineer position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves planning for the team, including Pre-Planning and PI Planning Events, and representing the team in Scrum of Scrums. The ideal candidate will drive agile execution to meet business oues, perform hands-on training and coaching in all aspects of Lean-Agile, and help lead teams to embrace a learning mindset. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities:

Planning for the team (Pre-Planning/Preparation and PI Planning Events) and represent the team in Scrum of Scrums/ART Syncs Drive agile execution to meet business oues and priorities Perform hands-on training/coaching to teams in all aspects of Lean-Agile Lead roles and teams to embrace a Lean-Agile and learning mindset Provide guidance about how to create and manage an intake process, healthy backlog, and how to facilitate valuable Agile ceremonies Align teams to enterprise Agile standards and practices, and coach team members through change the team define norms/agreements, i.e. Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, and enforce the agreements Establish agile metrics and reporting Ensure the team has a healthy product and S backlog (in collaboration with the PO) Facilitate dependency management/risk management/impediment removal for the team Measure team delivery, maturity, and performance and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements:

7-10 years of experience in technology in an agile delivery environment including in a hands-on Agile Release Train Engineer role (orparable role) Working knowledge of Lean Agile SDLC processes and deliverables Working knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management Ability to translate Agile concepts into business oues Strongmand of Agile metrics Experience in education at all levels of management within the agile framework (portfolio, program, team) Excellent analysis and troubleshooting skills Strong facilitation and organization skills Process and detailed oriented Willingness to be accountable for meeting all deliverable dates for task assignments Ability to foster strong collaboration among team members and help team solve problems Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in aplex fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality or timelines Experience with Agile tools (Jira) Desired skills: Enterprise-Scale Agile Experience Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management, Value stream identification and optimization, OKRs, funding models, and capacity allocation Experience aligning strategy to execution Large scale Agile coaching experience Experience with Jira Align Ability to influence without direct authority SAFe certification(s)
