Job Description

Experteer Overview In this role you lead finance analytics, partnering with Accounting, Tax, and Investments to modernize analytics and reporting. You'll automate manual processes, build scalable data solutions, and bridge finance with technology to enable trusted insights. You'll work with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM, Snowflake, and BI tools to deliver impactful finance analytics and enterprise reporting. You'll lead a team and shape analytics strategy aligned with USAA's mission to empower members.
Compensation / Benefits
  • Lead or co-lead strategic analytical initiatives using quantitative methods
  • Oversee analytical work—from problem framing to methodology, validation, and presenting findings
  • Monitor emerging technologies and adopt them to improve analytics capabilities
  • Assess resource needs and justify IT investments or additional analysts
  • Set analytic direction aligned with business strategy to drive change
  • Build and lead core analytics capabilities and processes across the organization
  • Mentor teams in mathematical and statistical techniques for fact-based decision making
  • Maintain and evolve data analysis skills, SQL/SAS, BI tools, and industry data practices
  • Research and apply latest best practices in data analytics (cloud, Python, ML, streaming data) Tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative analytics field or 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
  • 8 years in a decision support analytic function or 6 years with advanced degree
  • 3 years of direct team lead or management experience
  • Expertise in mathematical and statistical techniques used to influence business strategy
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and SQL/SAS and BI tools; ability to connect insights to business problems
  • Experience with data wrangling and incorporating new data sets into insights Key requirements
