Job Description

Position Overview Seeking a versatile Junior Project Manager / Data Analyst with hands-on data skills and some experience with Splunk . This role is a hybrid of project coordination, business analysis, and data validation, supporting initiatives across retail application teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging stakeholders, gathering requirements, validating data sources, and helping determine what application data should or should not be captured in Splunk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their PM or analytics career who enjoys cross-functional collaboration, problem solving, and working with data in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Partner with retail application teams to review systems, processes, and logging/data requirements. Validate which application data, events, and metrics should be ingested into Splunk . Identify unnecessary, duplicate, or low-value data sources and recommend improvements. Coordinate meetings, track action items, and support project timelines across multiple teams. Gather business and technical requirements and document findings clearly. Analyze data sets, trends, and reporting outputs to support decision-making. Communicate updates, risks, and dependencies to PMO leadership and stakeholders. Maintain project documentation, status reports, and process artifacts. Support continuous improvement efforts related to monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications 2-3+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or related roles. Some experience with Splunk . Strong analytical and data validation skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, and documentation tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, or enterprise application environments. Familiarity with application logging, monitoring, or observability concepts. Experience coordinating cross-functional technology initiatives. Knowledge of SQL, dashboards, or reporting tools. Ideal Candidate Profile Strong communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical teams. Curious and detail-oriented with a data-first mindset. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable working in an evolving role that blends PM, BA, and analytics responsibilities.
