The Enterprise Data & Analytics team enables data-driven decision-making across Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing, and Operations. We build trusted analytics platforms, scalable data architectures, and intuitive reporting experiences that empower teams worldwide. The Enterprise Data & Analytics team at iRobot is seeking a highly experienced Lead BI & Analytics Engineer with strong AI implementation readiness. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, data warehouse engineers, and ETL developers to design, develop, and deliver business-critical analytics, data models, and intuitive visualizations. As a technical leader and subject matter expert (SME), you will help define the strategic direction for self-service BI, modern analytics platforms, and the responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across iRobot's global user community.What You Will Do:
Lead end-to-end analysis, design, development, and deployment of enterprise BI solutions supporting Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations. Partner with Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Marketing teams to translate complex requirements into actionable insights. Design scalable, reusable data sources aligned with enterprise architecture and analytics best practices. Maintain metadata dictionaries, KPI definitions, and reporting standards to ensure governance and long-term sustainability. Design and deliver high-performing Tableau dashboards and visualizations, including interactive analytics and executive storytelling. Own the end‑to‑end analysis BigQuery raw data and looker‑modeled datasets, partnering with business and data engineering teams to standardize metrics, and implement a governed solution that ensures data consistency across platforms. Oversee data quality validation and QA processes across ETL, warehouse, and visualization layers. Monitor automated alerting for Tableau extracts and production BI pipelines. Act as the Reporting SME in enterprise data forums, providing guidance on platform architecture, security, and governance. Actively leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate analytics development, documentation, and insight discovery. Identify and implement AI-enabled enhancements to BI workflows, including automation, insight summarization, and decision support, using a practical, business-value-first approach. Create Jira stories, maintain Confluence documentation, and deliver user enablement and training.To Be Successful You Will Have:
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent (Master's preferred). 8+ years delivering enterprise BI and analytics solutions integrated with data warehouses. Expert-level experience with Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Prep. Strong experience of Oracle Data Warehouse concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Looker. Strong understanding ofSDLC, IT
change management, and operational support models. Functional understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 (Financials and Supply Chain). Preferred knowledge with SnapLogic or similar iPaaS tools for cloud-based data integration and ETL.AI & GenAI Requirements:
Hands-on, professional experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot in analytics or engineering workflows. Experience embedding AI-assisted capabilities into BI processes (e.g., insight generation, narrative analytics, automation). Strong understanding of responsible AI usage, data governance, and enterprise-appropriate AI adoption.Leadership & Interpersonal Skills:
