Part of the Finance Digital Transformation organization, the Data Science Manager will be working closely across the entire matrix of divisions and functions. The successful candidate will have strong leadership, business analytics and communication skills, combined with experience in data science and analytics tools, data ETL, knowledge in modeling and excellent project management skills.
Job Description:
Strategically collaborate with the business to create and implement solutions and sustainable improvements Lead projects creating solutions that drive process improvement and cost savings, with full ownership of identifying, prioritizing, and delivering high-impact initiatives Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, providing clear, concise, and impactful communication of insights, risks, and recommendations Lead, coach, and develop more junior analysts, including mentoring, workload prioritization, and talent development Drive the organization to move from strategy to action with analytics and data visualization techniques that help businesses and senior leaders make informed decisions Enhance and optimize reporting solutions from data architecture, development, visualization, to end-user training Collect, analyze, and interpret Operations metrics to identify potential projects/solutions Build scalable analytical workflows using Python and SQL; prepare and engineer data for advanced modeling Develop and standardize work processes, support routing times for production Liaise with Operations staff and other functional areas to meet and exceed project objectives Ensure robust documentation and change control practices for the team
Qualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in data science, business, or a related field Minimum 2 years of related experience Advanced digital literacy in Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, Power Point Strong expertise in programming languages (Python, SQL, DAX, M, etc) Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodology Significant experience in finance or working within a data-driven environment, preferably 5+ years Exceptional interpersonal skills with outstanding verbal and written communication Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency with the English language
