This role will focus on creating and managing logical data models, ensuring robust data governance practices, and driving the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives. The Director will also oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions while managing report governance and ensuring the effective use of BI tools, such as Tableau, across the organization. While the role does not involve data engineering responsibilities, it requires strong collaboration with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and availability. You will Logical Data Modeling and Data Governance Develop and maintain logical data models that support business analytics and reporting needs. Ensure data governance policies are effectively implemented, establishing standards for data quality, consistency, and compliance. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure alignment between logical data models and physical data infrastructure. Key Performance Metric (KPM) Development and Performance Measurement Lead the design, development, and implementation of key performance metrics (KPMIs) that align with business objectives. Work closely with business leaders to identify meaningful metrics and ensure consistent performance tracking across departments. Establish frameworks for performance measurement that drive strategic decision-making Dashboard and Report Development Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels. Ensure that dashboards are designed for usability, clarity, and accuracy, using BI tools such as Tableau. Lead the governance and standardization of reports to ensure consistency, reliability, and compliance with data governance policies. Business Intelligence Solutions Lead the design and deployment of BI reporting solutions to meet business needs, focusing on scalability and self-service capabilities. Oversee the usage of BI tools (e.g., Tableau), ensuring they are used effectively across the organization for analytics and reporting. Develop and maintain a roadmap for BI solutions, focusing on continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives. Ad-Hoc Analyses and Insights Generation Lead the delivery of ad-hoc data analyses to answer business-critical questions and provide insights to senior leadership. Provide data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions, focusing on identifying opportunities for growth, optimization, and innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific business challenges through data analytics. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Work closely with data engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure that data models and BI tools are aligned with business requirements. Serve as a key liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring that reporting solutions meet the needs of stakeholders. Provide leadership and mentorship to the analytics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. Report Governance and Compliance Develop and implement governance frameworks for report creation, ensuring consistency in definitions, metrics, and reporting standards. Monitor and audit reporting processes to ensure compliance with internal and external data governance regulations. Ensure that reporting systems and processes are well-documented and easily accessible to relevant stakeholders. Develop and implement a forward-thinking analytics strategy that aligns with organizational goals. Direct data-driven initiatives that anticipate future business needs. Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential risks to inform executive decision making. You have 8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or performance measurement roles 3+ years of experience leading analytics or BI teams Experience in designing and maintaining dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights Proven expertise in logical data modeling, data governance, KPM/KPI development, and B reporting Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms Experience supporting enterprise or multi-business-unit organizations Demonstrated expertise in data governance and logical data modeling Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence data-driven decision-making Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data insights into business strategies Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex analytics projects Education Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
