With more than 100 locations across the country, over 1,500 employees, and $400M+ in annual revenue, NVISION is a high-growth, fast paced organization dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes. NVISION Eye Centers is seeking a visionary and execution-driven Director of Data Analytics to lead the company's enterprise data strategy and value creation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this senior executive will be responsible for building and scaling a world-class analytics function—while also championing the execution of key strategic initiatives across our growing network of 100+ clinics and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs). The ideal candidate combines deep analytical expertise with strong operational instincts—someone who can translate data into action, partner closely with physicians and field leaders, and drive measurable value across clinical, financial, and operational dimensions. This is a hybrid position working in office in Aliso Viejo three days per week.Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Value Creation Define and execute NVISION's enterprise data and analytics strategy in alignment with business objectives and value creation priorities. Serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, translating data insights into strategic recommendations for the executive team and board of directors. Champion a data-driven culture across clinical operations, marketing, finance, and patient experience functions. Prepare, prioritize, and present an ongoing pipeline of value drivers to senior management that identify key opportunities to increase the equity value of the Company. Package and codify strategy into actionable insights and implement according to defined deadlines. Develop and manage the timeline of priorities with ultimate accountability for each initiative. Drive adoption of enterprise AI solutions, including training, governance, and change management Partner with stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing business processes Analytics & Insights Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting infrastructure, and advanced analytical models across 100+ centers. Drive insights related to patient outcomes, surgical volume, revenue cycle optimization, and center performance. Lead predictive modeling and forecasting efforts to support growth planning and resource allocation. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across all enterprise data sources. Communicate complex ideas effectively—both verbally and in writing—including gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, developing recommendations, and tracking implementation results. Technology & Infrastructure Partner with IT and operations to evolve the company's data architecture and business intelligence platforms. Evaluate and implement analytics tools, cloud data platforms, and AI/ML capabilities. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy regulations. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Clinical, Finance, Marketing, and Operations leadership to identify and prioritize analytics and strategic initiatives. Coordinate with Sales, Field Operations, FP&A, and Human Capital to ensure alignment on key projects. Develop trust-based relationships with field leaders and physicians; be seen as a specialist in implementation and delivering results. Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and the board of directors. Act as a trusted partner to center leadership teams, enabling data-informed decision-making at the local level. Create an environment of self-motivation and entrepreneurship, ensuring each department understands their role in the growth of the organization.Qualifications:
Required 5+ years of progressive analytics and/or strategy leadership experience Proven track record of building and scaling analytics teams in complex, multi-site organizations. Deep expertise in business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and cloud data platforms Strong command of SQL Demonstrated ability to communicate complex analytical and strategic ideas to diverse audiences, including physicians and board-level stakeholders. Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Preferred Healthcare industry experience, EMR systems, and healthcare data knowledge Call center experience MBA Experience in multi-site healthcare, ophthalmology, or ambulatory surgical center environments. 4+ years of experience at a major consulting firm. Experience working in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment. A senior operating role in ophthalmology or other multi-site settingsSimilar remote jobs
