Duties:

Ally Bank seeks a Manager•Adv Bus Analytics based out of our office at Lewisville, TX. This is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. This position does not require travel. Own the roadmap for strategy and analytics, and prioritize and execute on initiatives, including working with key stakeholders to gain support/approval. Lead and develop a team focused on improving portfolio performance by advancing consumer auto strategies, champion the change across the organization. Lead key analytical research, focusing on finding opportunities to improve performance through segmentation and treatment changes. Leverage appropriate tools for data analysis and portfolio segmentation and develop the teams ability in the same. Manage the priorities using sound control processes (daily/weekly/monthly) to effectively identify, assess and manage risk. Collaboratively work with matrix & vendor partners to ensure alignment with Allys strategic imperatives. Influence the roadmap and priorities of other partner groups by proactive engagement on topics related to customer solutions strategy.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Finance, Statistics, Business, or related field and Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation.

Experience must include:

5 years' of experience performing quantitative and statistical analysis on large-scale, structured financial datasets; 5 years' of experience in financial-sector working with consumer-finance-related datasets; 5 years' of experience performing data querying, data reconciliation, and preparing both recurring and ad-hoc analytical reports to support high-level senior leadership review and decision-making; 2 years' of experience conducting financial risk analysis using quantitative indicators and portfolio-level information; 2 years experience applying analytical techniques, such as trend analysis, variance analysis, segmentation analysis and prediction, to support policy or business decisions.
