We are seeking a Data Scientist to support large-scale transformation initiatives across supply chain and field operations platforms. This role will focus on building intelligent, data-driven systems that forecast demand, optimize planning, and improve real-time operational decisioning.
You will work across use cases including supply chain planning (700+ annual remodels, 600+ suppliers, 32 warehouses) and field operations (work order forecasting, labor planning, dispatch scheduling, and routing optimization). This is an opportunity to help transition highly manual processes into automated, scalable, AI-enabled systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop forecasting models to predict demand (e.g., work orders, inventory needs, remodel requirements)
- Build machine learning models to improve planning accuracy, efficiency, and operational outcomes
- Design and apply optimization techniques for:
o Labor planning and workforce allocation
o Dispatch scheduling and routing
o Inventory and supply chain decisioning
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate problems into data-driven solutions
- Support real-time or near real-time decisioning systems where applicable
- Help automate manual workflows through scalable modeling and analytics solutions

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- 4-8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics
- Strong experience with:
o Machine Learning & forecasting techniques (time series, regression, predictive modeling)
o Python (Pandas, scikit-learn, etc.) and SQL
o Working with large, complex datasets
- Ability to translate business challenges into analytical and modeling solutions
- Experience with optimization techniques (LP, MIP, routing, scheduling, or resource allocation)
- Background in supply chain, logistics, retail, or field operations
- Experience with real-time decision systems or operational analytics
- Familiarity with Agentic AI or AI-driven decisioning systems
- Experience deploying models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Exposure to tools such as Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, or Pyomo
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
