Summary:
Senior Applied AI/ML Engineer who has built and deployed real-world NLP, Computer Vision, and Recommendation System solutions in production, preferably for consumer-facing or e-commerce applications. Job Responsibilities:
Develops and productionizes AI and ML solutions across AI Beauty Chat, Virtual Artist, Color IQ, and Smart Skin Scan to support personalized beauty guidance, product discovery, shade matching, virtual try-on, and skin analysis experiences. Builds and fine-tunes NLP, computer vision, recommender, and multimodal models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, SQL, and modern data processing frameworks. Designs scalable ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement across web, mobile, and in-store experiences. Collaborates with product, engineering, UX, data science, merchandising, and beauty domain experts to translate customer needs into reliable, inclusive, and measurable AI powered features. Optimizes model accuracy, latency, reliability, and personalization quality for real-time experiences such as conversational beauty assistance, AR try-on, complexion matching, and skin concern detection. Applies MLOps best practices using cloud platforms, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, experiment tracking, model monitoring, and automated testing to support production grade AI systems. Ensures responsible AI development by prioritizing privacy, fairness, inclusive performance across skin tones and skin types, explainability, security, and compliance for customer facing beauty technology.
