Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Generative AI & Avatar Animation | Los Angeles/San Francisco I'm hiring right now for an AI avatar technology company building the visual and embodiment layer for AI. The team is developing next-generation AI-driven animation systems that bring intelligent digital personas to life through generative motion, multimodal AI, and real-time character behavior. Their platform powers AI companions, NPCs, creators, gaming, entertainment, and enterprise use cases, combining cutting-edge machine learning with advanced avatar technology already being deployed at scale today. They're looking for deeply technical, product-minded ML engineers who thrive solving open-ended generative AI problems; engineers comfortable owning systems end-to-end, working across research and production, and shipping high-performance AI systems that create believable, expressive avatar motion in real-world products. What they're looking for: 7+ years building and deploying machine learning systems into production Strong experience across generative AI, multimodal systems, motion synthesis, or animation technologies Hands-on experience with diffusion models, transformers, VAEs, GANs, or related generative architectures Strong software engineering skills with Python, PyTorch, and scalable ML infrastructure Experience working with multimodal data including text, audio, video, or motion systems High-ownership engineers who can take ideas from research ? deployed production systems Background in animation systems, motion data, computer graphics, or avatar technologies strongly preferred Important details: Based in Los Angeles/San Francisco Hybrid environment with strong in-person collaboration $180K-$270K base + equity Be sure to apply to find out more!
