  • Build bespoke AI systems that protect IP and enhance creative output Role Purpose KoobrikLabs is seeking a Principal AI Consultant to lead complex, high-trust AI discovery and delivery planning engagements with clients across the creative industries.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who enjoys owning the work end-to-end. You will shape direction, structure ambiguity, influence senior stakeholders, and turn AI potential into clear, delivery-ready outcomes. You'll work closely with delivery leadership, technical specialists, and client teams to design AI strategies and practical implementation plans that protect IP and build confidence. What You'll Be Doing Day to day, you are responsible for the following:
  • Lead discovery and prioritization engagements to identify high-value AI opportunities
  • Run client interviews, working sessions, workshops, and alignment meetings
  • Translate creative workflows into feasible AI use cases and delivery plans
  • Assess feasibility across data, tooling, architecture, security, and change impact
  • Define responsible AI approaches (governance, IP, human-in-the-loop, risk)
  • Deliver clear synthesis and executive-ready recommendations
  • Contribute to proposals, scoping, and shaping new client work
  • Support and mentor team members as KoobrikLabs grows Accountabilities
  • Deliver high-quality discovery and roadmap outputs that clients can act on immediately
  • Build strong senior client relationships and confidence in KoobrikLabs delivery
  • Create scoped, realistic, decision-grade recommendations
  • Support strong commercial outcomes through credible shaping and planning
  • Raise the standard of delivery through repeatable tools, templates, and ways of working Skills & Experience Essential
  • 7-12+ years of experience across AI strategy, digital transformation, technical delivery, consulting, or equivalent roles
  • Strong experience leading AI discovery, prioritization, and delivery planning engagements end-to-end
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders (Director/VP/C-level) and facilitating decision-making in high-trust environments
  • Deep understanding of modern AI delivery considerations including evaluation, reliability, governance, risk, and deployment patterns
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems into clear workplans, phased roadmaps, and decision-grade outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (including executive-ready synthesis and playback) Desirable
  • Hands-on familiarity with RAG, agentic workflows, LLM evaluation approaches, and emerging GenAI patterns
  • Familiarity with Python and modern engineering workflows
  • Cloud familiarity (AWS / Azure / GCP) and common AI/data architecture patterns
  • Experience in or adjacent to creative industries (film/TV/media/agencies/publishing/etc.)
  • Experience shaping responsible AI governance, compliance, security, or IP protection frameworks in real client settings
  • Experience partnering with engineers to move from roadmap into build (MVP scoping, delivery phases, implementation handoff)
