Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 7 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization. 5 years of experience working with executive leaders. Experience navigating the technical and operational nuances of the global payments landscape, including complex integration cycles with issuers and card networks. Deep understanding of how to scale AI solutions across disparate markets while maintaining regional compliance and country-specific UX standards. Ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into actionable concepts and strategies for non-technical stakeholders. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Act as the primary bridge to industry advancements and Google-wide AI networks, bringing tools, methods, and early alpha/beta features back to the team. Lead the exploration of next-generation user experiences, moving beyond traditional screens toward proactive, agentic, and highly personalized interaction models. Build and optimize AI-driven processes across all UX functions (Design, Research, Content, and Program Management) to eliminate manual toil. Integrate AI into the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) to compress the time between concept and launch without sacrificing user value or craft. Serve as a core strategic advisor to leadership on the long-term implications of AI regarding user trust, product differentiation, and brand strategy.
