AI Engineer Location :
100% Onsite in
Newport Beach, CA Compensation :
Up to 80/hr W2 only (DOE)
Terms :
Contract-to-hire . Responsibilities Build and maintain scalable, high-quality Python applications, APIs, and microservices. Lead end-to-end development of web solutions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features. Apply cloud-native and API-first design principles. Optimize systems for speed, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and best practices. Mentor developers and foster continuous improvement. Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them where relevant. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of full-stack development Python experience. 3+ years building enterprise-grade RAG solutions with modern LLMs. 1+ year designing multi-agent AI systems using advanced reasoning models. 3+ years developing multimodal document ingestion pipelines. 2+ years building evaluation pipelines for LLMOps. Experience with Python frameworks (Django, Flask) and OOP principles. Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, CosmosDB). Experience integrating microservices with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue). Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS). Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience building LLM applications (OpenAI, Llama, or similar). . .
