$95.16hr - $100.16hr Responsible for leading the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of AI use cases for Substation Operations. The role involves translating business problems into AI solution requirements, defining use case scope and success criteria, collaborating with IT and data teams, supporting data validation across enterprise systems, and ensuring AI solutions are aligned with operational needs, governance standards, and business value outcomes.Requirement/Must Have:
Strong experience in operations, asset management, maintenance, inspections, or utility field processes. Experience working with IT, data, analytics, or digital transformation teams. Strong ability to translate business problems into technical requirements. Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, APM, Snowflake, PI, Power BI, or similar platforms. Understanding of data quality, source-of-truth, and data validation concepts. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, or automation use cases. Experience leading pilots or proof-of-concept initiatives. Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage competing priorities and align teams on business value.Experience:
Experience working in electric utility, substation operations, transmission and distribution, or asset management environments preferred. Experience supporting AI or analytics-driven operational use cases. Experience working with enterprise data platforms and operational systems. Experience collaborating with vendors on technology pilots or implementations. Experience preparing executive-level presentations and roadmap documentation.Responsibilities:
Lead intake, evaluation, and prioritization of AI use cases for Substation Operations. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, IT, and field teams to define business requirements. Define use case scope, business value, success criteria, and expected outcomes. Work with technical teams to define data sources, pipelines, model requirements, and integrations. Support data validation across systems such as SAP, APM, Snowflake, PI, and related platforms. Partner with data stewards to establish source-of-truth logic and data definitions. Define AI model inputs, outputs, business rules, and decision workflows. Coordinate AI pilots, proof of concepts, testing, and production rollout activities. Ensure AI outputs are explainable, actionable, and aligned with operational workflows. Work with cybersecurity, governance, and architecture teams to ensure compliance. Track benefits, risks, dependencies, and adoption metrics for AI initiatives. Prepare executive updates, business cases, roadmaps, and funding proposals. Support change management, training, and user adoption of AI tools. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and implement AI solutions.Should Have:
Experience in electric utility or substation operations environments. Experience with AI use cases in asset health, maintenance optimization, inspections, or operational risk. Knowledge of tools such as Snowflake, PowerBI, SAP, PI
historian, or similar platforms. Experience with enterprise AI platforms or analytics ecosystems. Experience in executive reporting and program governance.Skills:
