Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience with software development in C++. 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. 3 years of experience with one or more of the following: AI/ML, sensor fusion, embedded systems, and performance optimization. 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging). Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: machine learning, sensor fusion, and System design and architecture. 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. This team also pushes the boundaries of how these technologies can support delightful AR experiences and capabilities across goggles, glasses, and phones, such as navigation, persistence, spatial UI powered GenAI, and controller. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms for real-time wear detection on consumer Glasses. Take ownership of the full development lifecycle, from collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, through algorithmic design, prototyping, testing, and final implementation. Initiate, lead, and contribute to research collaborations with partner teams, exploring novel techniques to solve the most complex challenges in power-efficient and accurate on-device sensing. Streamline and enhance the wear detection pipeline on our consumer Glasses, with a focus on maximizing accuracy, and power efficiency on resource-constrained hardware. Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and research to integrate your solutions and deliver seamless user experiences.
